What are mammals?

What is a mammal? Mammals are warm blooded animals that have hair or fur and give birth to live young. Humans are mammals. Cats, dogs, rabbits, deer, and elephants are also mammals. 

Mammals also produce milk to feed their young which helps them grow and develop. Compared to other animals, mammals have a very complex respiratory and circulatory system.
